Ella Shenhav, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, recently presented a CLE luncheon on August 18, 2022, discussing essential and recent updates in privacy and data security.
Ella, who is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), spoke to CLE attendees about privacy, cybersecurity, governing federal and state legislation, as well as foreign legislation and rules that businesses should consider. She also discussed key provisions of the proposed new American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA) and the potential implications of ADPPA on business practices.
