Woodrow “Woody” Pollack, an Intellectual Property partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Feeding Tampa Bay, the largest food rescue and distribution organization in the Tampa Bay community.
Woody, who also serves on the Executive Council of the Florida Bar Business Law Section, has a longstanding history of service and volunteerism with Feeding Tampa Bay, having recently organized an office-wide community service event through the organization.
“I am proud to serve an organization that serves the needs of the most vulnerable residents of the Tampa Bay community,” said Woody. “I look forward to working in cooperation with my fellow board members to help alleviate hunger and provide aid to food insecure individuals and families.”
Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food to nearly 1 million food insecure families in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. The organization is leading the movement to end hunger, rallying our community together to create a healthier, more capable Tampa Bay and beyond.
