Shutts & Bowen LLP Tampa partner Olga M. Pina was recently interviewed by both WTVT Tampa Bay Fox 13 and the Tampa Bay Times regarding the impact of coronavirus on production and trade.

Olga commented to Tampa Bay Fox 13 that as coronavirus cases increase worldwide, so will the price of many goods and services. According to Olga, this crisis affecting the Chinese economy will also impact all those that do business there. Tampa Bay area companies have already reported that the health crisis is hurting business. Commenting on the potential local impacts of coronavirus to the Tampa Bay Times, Olga discussed how smaller businesses may see a stronger impact than large companies. While large organizations may have the finances and resources to source from a new supplier, smaller companies without those options may face difficulties. “It doesn’t make the headlines, but they add up,” she said.
