Alyssa L. Cory is a Partner in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Appellate Practice Group.
Alyssa handles appeals and civil litigation support in a variety of cases in federal and state courts. Her practice covers complex commercial and business appeals, including appeals in all six Florida District Courts of Appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She assists clients with trial preservation, and developing and framing key legal arguments.
She currently serves on The Florida Bar Appellate Court Rules Committee, and brings a wealth of knowledge to her appellate practice from her previous experience as a staff attorney at both the Florida Supreme Court (Honorable Ricky Polston) and Florida’s First District Court of Appeal (Honorable Thomas D. Winokur).
