PACE Brunch 2018Fort Lauderdale associate Amy Wessel served as Co-Chair of the PACE Center for Girls Broward’s fourth annual Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Brunch, which took place on April 14 at the Pier 66 Hotel and Marina. The event raised more than $50,000 for the PACE Center for Girls Broward. Proceeds from the event will help fund counseling and academic services provided to the 170+ at-risk girls attending PACE.

Also in attendance were Fort Lauderdale partner Suzanne Driscoll, Fort Lauderdale paralegals Stephanie McMenamy and Jennifer Fields, and Fort Lauderdale legal assistants Josee Goodwin, Debbie Ouellette, and Lina Cocuyame.

PACE Broward was established in July 1992 at the urging of leaders in the community realizing a delinquency prevention/intervention program for young and adolescent girls was needed in Broward County. Housed on a beautiful, safe, well-lit campus in Wilton Manors, the Day Program under the leadership of founding Regional Executive Director, Aggie Pappas, continues to make positive changes in the lives of girls ages 11-18.
