Shutts & Bowen LLP proudly sponsored the United Way of Palm Beach County’s Annual ‘Simply the Best’ Awards Ceremony at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts on May 14, where more than 400 of the organization’s longtime supporters gathered in recognition of outstanding contributors and the United Way’s 90th Anniversary.
Arthur J. Menor, Managing Partner of the West Palm Beach office, attended the event, which also honored individuals who were recognized for their personal dedication and generosity to United Way. Recognizing nine decades of community presence from the organization, the event also celebrated campaign successes and their impact within the region.
In response to the 1928 hurricane that devastated Palm Beach County, community leaders recognized the need for a unified effort to respond to human needs. 90 years and $300 million dollars later, United Way of Palm Beach County is still serving the community, from day-to-day stewardship and outreach to disaster relief efforts.
