Tampa, Florida -- Eric Adams, a partner in Shutts & Bowen's Tampa Litigation Department was the speaker at the Broward County Women Lawyers' Association monthly luncheon on January 17.  Mr. Adams provided an overview of the recent electronic discovery changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.  He is also involved in working on the future changes to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure as a member of the Florida Bar Civil Procedure Rules Committee and its E-Discovery Subcommittee.  This involvement allowed Mr. Adams to provide an insight into the current discussions regarding efforts in Florida to amend the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.

Mr. Adams practices general commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on real estate and eminent domain litigation, as well as copyright, insurance, and business tort litigation, including the enforcement and defense of non-competition agreements.

Mr. Adams makes himself available for brief in-house seminars regarding the recent electronic discovery changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.  Company Legal Departments or groups impacted by information technology may contact Mr. Adams at Shutts & Bowen's Tampa office to make arrangements.
