Partner Mary Ruth Houston was featured in the January issue of Orlando Magazine in an article on adventure vacations.

According to the article, Mary Ruth and her husband John began looking for mountains to climb five years ago after celebrating their 25th anniversary. They climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, a dormant volcano in Tanzania and the highest mountain in Africa. They've gone on several trips around the world since, from Macchu Pichu to Mauna Kea in Hawaii and the Pico de Orizaba in Mexico.

During their trip to Ecuador, Mary Ruth climbed the summit of Cotopaxi, an active volcano in the Andes Mountains and the second highest summit in Ecuador. Along with her husband and guide, she made her way through a cloud of sulfur to the summit. The volcano erupted less than a week later and the park had to be closed. Read the full article.
