Learn how to secure appropriate insurance coverage at the onset of a construction project from attorneys Amanda Simmons Luby and Dana Chaaban in an upcoming webinar hosted by Lorman Education Services.

On November 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. EST, Amanda and Dana will cover the basics of insurance policies available on construction projects, the types of claims that may be covered, and common problems in identifying and making claims under those policies. Construction professionals, engineers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, executives, project managers, developers, controllers, risk managers, attorneys and accountants will benefit from learning about:

  • excess insurance policies;
  • builders' risk insurance; and,
  • errors & omissions (professional liability) policies

They will also address some of the latest developments in how federal and some state courts are interpreting insurance contracts.

About the Presenters

Amanda Simmons Luby focuses her practice in construction law, equine law and general business transactions and commercial litigation. She has represented developers, general contractors, manufacturers and design professionals in a variety of claims arising out of or related to large and small construction projects.

Dana Chaaban focuses her practice on commercial and construction litigation, where she represents developers, contractors, material suppliers, and design professionals in disputes involving construction defect claims, delay claims, construction lien issues, and contract disputes.
