Shutts & Bowen LLP is searching for an established Tax Controversy Attorney to anchor and grow our Tax Controversy practice in the booming Tampa and Sarasota market areas.
Our ideal candidate for this ground floor opportunity would be a partner level attorney with ten or more years of experience representing individuals, tax exempt entities and business organizations with civil tax controversies (and tax audits and collection matters) with the Internal Revenue Service, the Florida Department of Revenue and local tax authorities. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is a team player and interested in taking full advantage of the opportunity to grow and expand the Tax Controversy practice in the rapidly growing Tampa and Sarasota offices of an established, 110 year old, statewide, AmLaw 150 law firm. Prior government experience (with the IRS or a state Department of Revenue) would be a plus, as would an LLM in taxation or CPA certification.
Shutts & Bowen LLP is a 110-year old firm that offers a competitive platform for your business and the resources and tools you need to help grow your practice. We are willing to consider both qualified individual attorneys and groups of attorneys to join our practice.
