Deedee Bitran Speaks to Students at FIU Law

Deedee Bitran, a Business Litigation associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen, recently spoke to a group of students at FIU Law about her legal career. Deedee and fellow FIU Law alumna Judge Marcia Del Rey provided the “Semester-in-Practice” Practicum students with advice about the legal profession and a constructive reflection about the legal profession and their legal careers.
The SIP Practicum provides third and fourth year law students with full-time practical experience for an entire semester at a private firm, a corporation, a non-profit, legal services organization or a government agency. This course is co-taught by Dean Michelle Mason and Labor Secretary nominee Dean Alexander Acosta.
About Deedee Bitran
Alamea Deedee Bitran is an attorney in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen, where she is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group. Deedee represents employers, business owners and developers. While in law school, she won seven national writing competitions. Additionally, she served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Ivan F. Fernandez in the Third District Court of Appeal and as an Articles Editor on the FIU Law Review.
