Shutts & Bowen LLP is pleased to announce that Orlando attorney Michael Patrick Kaney has been appointed to the Executive Leadership Team of Club Blue, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s (BGCCF) young professional association. The Executive Leadership Team is comprised of six emerging leaders who work to develop innovative and creative ways to grow Club Blue’s 75-year-old organization.

Michael was selected to serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team thanks to his commitment to Club Blue’s mission and his continuous efforts in leadership, volunteerism and advocacy. The Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida established this board of emerging leaders to creatively grow Club Blue, as well as better impact the more than 16,000 youth that are served at thirty-four club sites across seven counties (Brevard, Lake, Nassau, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter). According to BGCCF, Club Blue is a “philanthropic association comprised of young professionals (ages 21-35) that live or work in Central Florida,” extending their time, talent and resources to the organization to make a difference in the lives of young people.
