Partner Daniel O'Keefe Elected Chairman of the South Florida Water Management District

Shutts & Bowen is pleased to announce that Daniel O’Keefe, a partner in the Orlando office of the firm, is the new chairman of the South Florida Water Management District, the state agency that oversees water resources in the Everglades and 16 counties.

As an experienced real estate partner in a competitive property market, Mr. O'Keefe handles real estate and land use issues ranging from negotiating loans and government approvals, to dealing with regulatory agencies and handling concurrency issues for builders and developers. Co-Chairman of the firm's Real Estate Department, he focuses on large-scale projects for developers and home builders, both local and national. Mr. O’Keefe is a former banker and represents financial institutions in loan transactions as well as work out and restructuring transactions.
