Shutts & Bowen LLP Fort Lauderdale Partner Sandra E. Krumbein has been appointed as Chair of the Florida Bar’s Condominium and Planned Development Law Certification Review Committee. As Chair of this Committee, Sandra will support the mission of The Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section of the Florida Bar in their efforts to encourage members to become Board Certified specialists in legal areas including Condominium and Planned Development Law.

The Florida Bar’s Condominium and Planned Development Law Certification Review Committee is one of nineteen substantive committees under the Real Property Law Division, addressing issues that impact Florida real property practitioners. Sandra finds herself well-qualified to serve as Chair of this Certification Review Committee, having previously acted as Co-Chair of the same committee for two years, and also as a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Condominium and Planned Development Law.

According to RPPTL, Board Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice. More than 5,000 Florida lawyers are recognized as specialists in one or more of 27 certification areas. As Chair of the Condominium and Planned Development Law Certification Review Committee, Sandra will lead the efforts of the RPPTL Section and her Committee Members as they conduct annual live and webcast review courses for her certification area.
