Shutts & Bowen’s Miami office recently hosted a fundraiser for Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez. Shutts partners Marc Sarnoff, Joseph Goldstein, and Alexander Tachmes along with developer Shahab Karmely and Jay Solowsky of Solowsky and Allen invited contributors and supporters to attend the event in support of the Mayor’s campaign. Mayor Gimenez is the highest ranked elected official and chief administrator of Miami-Dade County, the largest county in Florida.
“Carlos is a great guy who has done the most difficult job of administering the largest county in the state through the financial crisis,” said Marc Sarnoff. “Today, we are on firmer financial footing than we have been in decades, and are now in the process of addressing rising sea levels as well as decades-old unattended water and sewer issues.”
