Shutts Miami committed to adopting 250 angels for The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Attorneys and staff collected more than 400 toys for underprivileged children across our community. The Shutts Miami office has participated in this initiative for approximately 10 years.
Since 1985, The Salvation Army Miami Area Angel Tree Program has provided Christmas assistance for disadvantaged children in the community. Each angel represents a child’s wish list from infants through age 14 who might not have a Christmas without donations.
This year, the program distributed 3,400 angels at the beginning of November. Last year, nearly 3,000 children were positively impacted during the Christmas holiday season. The Angel Tree Program is one of the largest and longest-standing holiday giving initiatives in Miami.
