Shutts & Bowen LLP recently sponsored a CLE presentation for the Association of Corporate Counsel North Florida Chapter, featuring H. Timothy Gillis, Managing Partner of the Jacksonville office, West Palm Beach partner Joseph Bain and partner Andres Arrubla.
The CLE presentation, “Triaging an Intellectual Property Infringement Claim,” reviewed best practices for responsive and preemptive legal action with regard to patent notice letters and trademark cease and desist letters. Tim, Joe and Andres discussed the importance of timely initial action and the assessment of the strength of claims. Held on February 24, 2022, the CLE presentation was immediately followed by an axe throwing social.
