Recognition

Miami partner Aliette DelPozo Rodz was recently nominated as a 2024 South Florida Woman of Impact by the American Heart Association.

Nominees participate in a 9-week blind competition, which launched on February 2 - National Wear Red Day – and runs through April 4. The competition is focused on women’s heart health, creating awareness and providing funds for advancing research. The participants recruit teams, build campaigns and inspire the community as part of the 2024 class of changemakers. The nominee whose team makes the largest impact in each market will be named the local Woman of Impact Award Winner.

On February 2, Aliette kicked off her Go Red Woman of Impact campaign. Attorneys and staff from across the firm participated by wearing their red shirts in support of the cause. Aliette is working alongside the organization to make the greatest impact possible on the future of women’s health in the South Florida community.

Additionally, the Go Red for Women Initiative, a global effort by the American Heart Association, allows individuals to come together for one cause, women’s cardiovascular disease.
