In March, an all-female trial team led by the Co-Chair of Shutts & Bowen’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, partner Aliette DelPozo Rodz, litigated a five-day bench trial before the Complex Business Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court.
The Shutts team consisted of partner Aliette DelPozo Rodz; partner Kristin Drecktrah Paz; associate Natalia Jaramillo; law clerk Thaisa Wosniack; paralegal Debbie Fernandez; and legal assistant Jennin Gil. The team’s American, Colombian, Brazilian, and Cuban backgrounds also shine a light on the firm’s commitment to diversity and its international reach.
“We have an incredible team of attorneys and staff at Shutts & Bowen, and it is my honor to work alongside such bright and talented women on a daily basis for the benefit of our clients,” said Aliette, who chairs the firm’s Diversity Committee and Focus on Women Group. “The icing on the cake is to be able to accomplish this during Women’s History Month, where we have the opportunity to acknowledge and showcase the work of our female attorneys.”
