Benjamin Sorrell, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Sarasota office, has recently been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of Gulf Coast Legal Services.

Ben has served on the Board of Directors since 2019 for Gulf Coast Legal Services, a non-profit legal organization serving low-income clients in Pinellas and Manatee counties. As Chair of the Board, Ben will continue to assist the organization in its mission to provide high quality legal services at no cost to indigent clientele.

Formed in 1978, Gulf Coast Legal Services champions justice by enhancing access to the legal system, especially for those whose race, ethnicity, income, age, disability, gender, or sexual orientation pose obstacles.
