In the first installment of the Daily Business Review’s “Leading the Way” Q&A Series, Shutts & Bowen Executive Committee Chairman Bowman Brown discussed how the firm is navigating novel challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and how law firm leaders now face choices that will impact their firms’ performance for years to come.
During his interview, Bowman gave insights into the “digital transformation” at work in the legal industry, which has come at a quicker pace than anyone anticipated.
“There’s got to be room to take advantage of the digital transformation in a reasonable way while getting people in the office at least on a regular basis, but allowing some flexibility in working from home and accommodating all that,” he said.
Bowman also discussed the challenges of recruiting in the Florida market, the firm’s return-to-office plans and vaccine mandates.
