City & State Florida has published their inaugural South Florida Power 100. This list – researched, ranked and edited by City & State staff – showcases the many people who have made the Gold Coast a focus of not only the state’s power network, but nationally as well.
Bowman Brown, Chairman of Shutts & Bowen’s Executive Committee and a member of the firm’s Financial Services practice group, has been listed among this year’s most powerful players. The publication comments on his financial services practice, which has been at the forefront of the development of Florida as a major domestic and international financial center.
According to City & State, much of Bowman’s work has involved advocating with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation, the Florida Legislature and the Securities and Exchange Commission to push for regulation and legislation to promote the growth of the financial services business in the Sunshine State.
