Brendan Aloysius Barry, a real estate partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, attended the Admiral’s Reception aboard the USS Lassen during the 30th Annual Broward Navy Days, held May 1-7, 2022.
Navy Days showcases the military to residents with welcoming events and shore leave activities for visiting Navy ships. Fleet Week allows the public to meet sailors and Marines and get a better understanding of what their Navy does day-to-day.
Brendan, a member of the board of Directors for the Port Everglades Association, attended as an invited guest of Rear Admiral Wesley McCall, Commander of United States Navy, Region Southeast, and Commander Ryan D. Pierce, Captain of the USS Lassen. During their time together, they discussed the importance of Port Everglades to the region and the far-reaching economic impact of the Port.
