Cari R. Shapiro, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Miami office, was recently appointed by The Florida Bar to serve on the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “M”.

The Florida Bar has Grievance Committees in each of its 20 judicial circuits. The committees are composed of lawyer and nonlawyers who are tasked with assisting in the investigation of potential lawyer misconduct referred to The Florida Bar.

Cari has represented national companies in litigation for claims involving healthcare, personal injury, contract disputes, and product liability matters, and currently focuses her practice on mass litigation. She also has experience defending national companies against asbestos exposure claims.
