On Saturday, March 20, Miami senior associate Cari R. Shapiro participated in an event coordinated by the United Way LINC. During “LINC Up and Give Back with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami; Career Exploration Workshop,” young professionals met virtually with students in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program to champion hope, provide insights, and mentor young minds sure to make an impact.
LINC members led the high school students through a morning of interactive career conversations. They discussed the value of networking and exploring different career options. LINC members were placed in small groups based on their specific professional field where students had the opportunity to gain insights from several unique perspectives. Participants provided students with helpful information, personal experiences, and advice on how to succeed.
