On December 14, 2022, West Palm Beach partner Cassandra Jelincic will co-host a webinar for The Florida Bar Elder Law Section. Titled “Laws Over Lunch: Who is Allowed in the Room Where it Happens? A Case Study of the Improved Rule 4-1.14,” the webinar will examine the new and improved Rule 4-1.14 and how it can be applied across practice areas.
Cassandra and co-presenter Heather Samuels will begin by reviewing the nuts and bolts of the change in the rule, and then examine multiple circumstances in which the new rule changes aid clients in need of supportive decision making. The webinar will conclude with a discussion on best practices on how to document the client’s wishes and forms of assistance for future reference.
