Sunny Isles Beach City Commissioner Dana Goldman, Of Counsel to the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, recently hosted a Condo Rights Workshop. Dana was joined by Shutts partner Amanda Buffinton, a partner in the Tampa office who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law.
During the presentation, titled “What All Condo Residents Should DEMAND from their Associations Post-Surfside Tragedy,” Dana and Amanda discussed with attendees how to assess their building’s structural condition and their association’s financial condition. They also gave their perspectives on governance, transparency and accountability.
