Shutts & Bowen LLP attorney Deedee Bitran recently spoke on a panel at Florida International University College of Law.
The panel discussed “Religious Accommodations in School and the Workplace” with Mendy Halberstam (Jackson Lewis) and Adam Kemper (The Workplace Law Firm). The panelists shared advice with law students on how to request religious accommodations in the workplace and in school settings. The panelists discussed the law on religious accommodations and their own personal experiences with navigating religious accommodations in their careers.
Professor Howard Wasserman moderated the panel, which was organized by two student groups: the Jewish Law Student Association (JLSA) and the Employment and Labor Law Society (ELLS).
