Derrick Valkenburg, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently spoke during a panel discussion for the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Construction Industry Conference (CIC), discussing best practices in the construction industry.
During the panel discussion, Derrick shared his insights on national and state legislative issues and economic factors affecting the construction industry’s labor and supply chain issues, as well as current issues affecting construction contracts and other construction risk management tips.
