Derrick M. Valkenburg, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, will speak at an upcoming Associated Builders and Contractors-In-Action panel for the Central Florida Chapter on July 28, 2021, from 7:30 – 9:00 am.
During the ABC-In-Action panel, Derrick will discuss the industry impact associated with supply shortages, price increases and other related factors. Derrick’s featured co-panelists at the event will include local construction executives, and will be facilitated by the Orlando Economic Partnership’s Dale Brill.
In preparation for the topic concerning material costs and risk management, the Associated Builders and Contractors Central Florida Chapter (ABC CFC) partnered with the Orlando Economic Partnership to conduct a comprehensive survey, focused on addressing the volatile environment driven by escalating costs. Survey results will be shared at this event along with valuable best practices and strategies to apply during this time of uncertainty.
