Ella Shenhav, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, was recently appointed President of the Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Litigation American Inn of Court.
Now in its tenth year of operation, the Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Litigation American Inn of Court continues in the tradition of America’s other Inns, which aim to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal skills. Ella, who has been a member of the Inn of Court since 2016, will work in cooperation with her fellow board members to continue the mission of the organization and to develop continuing legal education programs of interest to the membership.
The Inn of Court was named in honor of William Reece Smith, Jr., whose career spanned six decades. As a former president of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the International Bar Association, he was the only American lawyer to serve as a president of a local, state, national and international bar association.
