Pepin Academies is a charter school organization that helps to maximize the potential of children with educational exceptionalities in a positive, therapeutic environment. Established in 1999, Pepin Academies are 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit, tuition-free, public charter schools that serve students with specific learning and learning-related disabilities. The organization educates students in grades 3 through 12. Today, Pepin Academies has grown to serve over 1,100 students, with Hillsborough County campuses in Tampa and Riverview and a campus in New Port Richey, which serves students in Pasco County. Pepin Academies also offers a transition program that provides a comprehensive individualized program of vocationally-based training in conjunction with life and job readiness courses for young adults ages 18 to 22. The transition helps young adults develop employability and workforce transition skills while providing necessary hands-on, pre-vocational training opportunities.
