Eric C. Reed, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently participated as a speaker at Barry University School of Law’s celebration event, held in honor of their graduates that recently passed the 2020 Bar exam.
The celebration event, held on December 3, 2020 via Zoom, featured prominent speakers and messages of congratulations for the new alumni to enjoy. Following comments and congratulations from Barry Law Dean Leticia Diaz and Ninth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Alice Blackwell, Eric (class of 2002) participated as a speaker during an alumni panel discussion. Joined by fellow alumni and former president of the law alumni chapter, Mason Williams, Eric’s panel discussion focused on his pathway to his current position as a partner at Shutts and President-Elect of the Orange County Bar Association. He also provided advice to the recent graduates as they begin their careers as new attorneys.
In addition to his role as President-Elect of the Orange County Bar Association, Eric also serves as a board member of the Orange County Bar Association Legal Aid Society and previously chaired the Orange County Bar Association Judicial Relations Committee.
