Erik Szabo Re-Elected to Greater Orlando Builders Association’s Board of Directors

Erik F. Szabo, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently won re-election to the Greater Orlando Builders Association’s (GOBA) Board of Directors. He will serve another three-year term as an Associate Director, running from 2021 to 2023.

Erik has served as an Associate Director for GOBA since 2018 and is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law. His appointment will be announced and he will be sworn-in at GOBA’s Installation of the 2021 Senior Officers and Board of Directors on November 19, 2020. In his role on the board of directors, he will continue to advocate for GOBA and its construction industry professionals across Central Florida.

The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) is the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry serving more than 700 members.  Since 1953, GOBA has served the construction industry in Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties including its cities. By representing and promoting the building industry, GOBA encourages higher standards of practice through education and by taking a proactive role in the governmental and regulatory activities that impact the construction industry.

Erik F. Szabo is a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Construction Litigation Practice Group.

He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law and regularly speaks to audiences pertaining to the Florida Construction Lien Law and construction contracts.
