Erik Szabo, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, will give a special presentation to the Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) Developers Council on Thursday, March 31, 2022.
During the presentation, Erik will discuss Florida’s construction lien law, including a summary of the governing statutes, the requirements to perfecting an enforceable lien, lien defense and the important steps taken by owners and lienors when dealing with lien claims. The Greater Orlando Builders Association (GOBA) is the authority, educator and promoter of the housing and building industry serving more than 700 members. Since 1953, GOBA has served the construction industry in Seminole, Orange and Osceola Counties including its cities.
