Erin Tuck, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently organized and moderated the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association’s May CLE program, “Best Practices for 30(B)(6) Depositions.”
Erin, who serves on the board of directors of FBA Orlando, moderated the panel of speakers throughout the event, which included a U.S. Magistrate Judge. The panelists discussed best practices and common issues regarding drafting and objecting to 30(b)(6) notices, preparing witnesses, and conducting a 30(b)(6) deposition.
Founded in 1971, the Orlando Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is an organization committed to the interests, education, and professional development of all federal court practitioners. Membership in the Orlando Chapter gives attorneys access to events, including CLE seminars, brown bag luncheons with local judges and federal agency heads, the annual morning at the federal courthouse for young lawyers, and marquee events such as the State of the District Luncheon. These events draw together the range of our Chapter’s members, including practitioners from firms of all sizes, government lawyers, in-house corporate counsel, and members of the federal judiciary.
