Nominees for this honor must mentor or act as a role model for others, show leadership in professional organizations and in civic/community service initiatives.
According to the publication, the numbers of women attorneys, as well as top performers, are steadily rising across the state of Florida and this list is more distinctive and difficult for inclusion.

Aliette DelPozo Rodz is a partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is Co-Chair of the International Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group; Chair of the Cuba Task Force, and Chair of the firm's Diversity Committee.
