On Thursday, May 20, the firm’s Focus on Women Group gathered for a Lunch & Learn centered on the topic of taking ownership of personal finances.
During the seminar, Nancy Rizzuto and Barbara Best, Principals and founding partners of CAP STRAT and the CAP STRAT Women’s Forum, presented “Money, Power & Purpose: Aligning Your Finances with Your Future.” The interactive presentation was developed specifically to engage, educate and empower women about their relationship with money, the power behind making their own choices and living a life that expresses purpose.
“The goal of Shutts & Bowen’s Focus on Women Group is to empower our female attorneys through mentorship, collaboration, professional development and growth both professionally and personally,” said Aliette DelPozo Rodz, Chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee and Focus on Women Group. “I believe this program really touched upon all those aspects, and I can’t thank Nancy and Barbara enough for giving our group another platform for growth.”
“CAP STRAT’s presentation was perfect for our Focus on Women group,” added West Palm Beach partner Rikki Bagatell. “Nancy and Barbara showed their passion for supporting women and illuminated for all of us why we should empower ourselves. Not only did we hear about the importance of engaging in our own financial present and future, but many of us also took the opportunity to participate in the presentation together, in person, for the first time in over a year.”
