Jennifer Slone Tobin, a partner in the Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen LLP and Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, has been named to the Advisory Board of the University of Florida’s Bergstrom Real Estate Center.  The Advisory Board is made up of a team of real estate experts from various professions who help advance the quality and visibility of the university’s real estate degree programs.

The Kelley A. Bergstrom Real Estate Center at the University of Florida has been cultivating the exchange of education and information among real estate researchers, academics, students, and industry leaders for more than 30 years. As a diverse practitioner and leader within the legal real estate community, Tobin will contribute her expertise in the acquisition, development, permitting and financing of real property to both the university and advisory board.

“I’m thrilled to join the advisory board at the Bergstrom Real Estate Center and to help support and expand the real estate programs at my alma mater,” said Tobin, who graduated with a B.S. in Political Science from UF in 1992. “This board is made up of many respected colleagues and friends who are dedicated to furthering the advancement of the real estate programs at UF and I am honored to join them.”

Tobin is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law.  She has a diverse practice representing developers and lenders in a variety of real estate transactions and projects.
