Jeremy Shir Appointed Co-Chair of the Government Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association

Fort Lauderdale partner Jeremy B. Shir, a member of Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Land Use & Zoning Practice Group, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Government Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association. Jeremy’s term will run through June 30, 2025.

In his role, Jeremy will work closely with BCBA staff, judges, and community and business leaders to impart knowledge and professionalism in the practice of law.

The Broward County Bar Association, a not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1925 to foster courtesy, ethics, and professionalism among Broward County lawyers, to educate the citizens of Broward County on their legal rights, and to provide necessary legal services to Broward County’s residents.

Jeremy B. Shir is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Land Use & Zoning Practice Group. Jeremy focuses his practice in the areas of real estate and land use. He represents developers, property owners, companies and investors to facilitate multifaceted projects throughout the real estate entitlement and permit processes. He has experience in obtaining development approvals and permits for matters related to site plan approvals, re-zonings, variances and conditional uses.
