Miami attorney Leticia Mora, a member of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution Practice Group, has been selected as a recipient of the Bennett Trial Advocacy Scholarship to the Oxford University Advanced International Trial Advocacy Program, held August 30-September 2, 2022, at Keble College, Oxford, England.
The aim of this advanced international advocacy program is to encourage and develop the highest standards of advocacy amongst practitioners in London and the South East. The course, the most demanding and intensive of any advocacy course in the UK, walks each attendee through preparation and oral advocacy for a mock trial before a High Court Judge or Deputy. In recent years, they have been fortunate enough to have participants from the War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, and faculty and participants from the Scottish Bar, The Florida Bar, the South African Bar, and the Bars of Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
As a scholarship recipient, Leticia will receive full tuition, room and board, and a $1,000 travel reimbursement for the Advanced International Trial Advocacy course presented by the Bar of England and Wales. She will be attending as a representative of Florida and The Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section.
