Miami tax partner Logan Gans has been named to the Emory Alumni Association’s 40 Under Forty Class of 2021. This group represents some of the most accomplished young alumni, who continue to make waves in business, research, leadership, and philanthropic endeavors.
The young leaders on this year’s list are forging partnerships, solving problems, and serving their communities in order to create stronger communities both in their professional and personal lives.
While at Emory, Logan served as vice president of the Pre-Law Society and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Today, he advises both domestic and international businesses and high-net-worth individuals on the evolving intricacies of US tax law.

Logan E. Gans is a partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where he is a member of the Tax and International Law Practice Group. Logan regularly represents clients on U.S. Federal tax, international tax, and state and local tax matters. Logan also advises U.S. clients on outbound corporate and tax planning, including Subpart F, GILTI, and FDII matters. Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen, Logan was an International Tax Senior Consultant with the multinational accounting firm of Deloitte LLP.
