Meredith Freeman, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, will be a featured presenter at an upcoming CLE presentation for the Construction Law Committee of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar.
On Monday, May 10, 2021, Meredith will speak to the committee during a virtual CLE presentation, discussing diversity, inclusion and equity as is relates to construction law. The program will also help members fulfill a portion of their required credits approved under legal ethics and bias elimination for The Florida Bar. The Construction Law Committee meets every month to carry out Committee business and administer legal education programming on topics of interest to the construction industry practitioner.

Meredith A. Freeman is a partner in the Tampa office of Shutts & Bowen LLP, where she is a member of the Construction Litigation Practice Group. Meredith is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar and practices primarily in the areas of construction and business litigation. Meredith has experience in handling a variety of construction related matters, including claims against design professionals, construction defects claims, and delay claims. Meredith is also experienced in drafting and negotiating construction contracts.
