Michael A. Sjuggerud, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, will speak at an upcoming CAP Rate webinar for the Florida CCIM Chapter Central District on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
The program, titled “What are Today’s CAP Rates Telling Us?”, will feature prominent commercial real estate and legal professionals from the Central Florida area. Michael and his fellow panelists will discuss the current capitalization rate and its effect as a comparative investment tool in today’s commercial real estate market. Michael will be joined by co-panelists Robbie McEwan (JLL), Kane Morris-Webster (B+E) and Richard Best (DeRango, Best & Associates), as well as moderator Robin Webb (Commercial America Properties).

The CCIM Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation (CCIM) to commercial real estate professionals who have extensive training and industry experience and complete a rigorous study program. According to the organization, the Florida Chapter CCIM is the largest CCIM Chapter in the United States, with the Central District (representing approximately 190 Central Florida members) being the largest of the eight districts in the Florida Chapter.
