Olga Pina, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Tampa office, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming “Exporting for Women” Virtual Roundtable, hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Central-North Florida District Export Council and the Tampa Bay Organization of Women in International Trade (TBOWIT).
The virtual program will take place on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 12 – 1:30 pm. Olga, an appointed council member of the Central-North Florida District Export Council and founder of TBOWIT, will join her fellow panelists as they discuss international trade topics with experts in international shipping, logistics, finance, compliance, legal issues, marketing, sales and pricing. Additionally, they will offer solutions to export issues and attendee questions.

The Central-North Florida District Export Council is Florida’s premier volunteer public-private international business development group. Members are appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, who serves as the voice of U.S. businesses within the President’s Cabinet. The Central-North Florida District Export Council is one of the 61 such councils established by the U.S. Department of Commerce, to represent the interests of the U.S. exporting community and provide “business counseling on the export process, trade education through seminars and community outreach” to encourage firms in local service areas to export.
