Attorneys and Summer Associates in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office participated in an Edible Education Dinner Experience on July 24, 2024. The event was facilitated by firm Executive Committee member Jennifer S. Tobin, who serves as Chair of the Edible Education Experience Board of Directors.

The event highlighted Edible Education Experience’s vision for a community that prioritizes sustainable, whole food as a source of joy and connection. The program included a seasonal cooking demonstration, hands-on cooking opportunity for all participants, a tour of the culinary garden and a meal created by the attendees that all enjoyed. In attendance at the event in addition to Jennifer were Erin Tuck, Adriana L. Pfeiffer, Kelscey A. Boyle, Cameron A. Parks, Jennifer P. Sommerville, Karen Wankelman, Brianna D. Lohmann, Kayla E. Szubinski, Elesa R. Sowell, Bruce T. Lower, Michael S. Friedman, and Michael L. Gore, as well as Orlando’s 2024 Summer Associates, Andrea V. Hernandez and Carrie C. Williams.

Edible Education Experience, which operates the 3,500 sq. ft. Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House and Culinary Garden in College Park, is a nonprofit teaching kitchen and garden located in the heart of Central Florida. As the first of its kind in Orlando, Edible Ed creates opportunities for the Central Florida community to explore deeper connections with food and each other through immersive, hands-on, garden-to-kitchen experiences.
