West Palm Beach partner Patricia A. Leonard will be serving as a panelist at the Florida Association for Women Lawyers 2022 Fall Conference, which is taking place on September 22-23 at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach.
Patti, who is Chair of Shutts & Bowen’s Focus on Women Committee, will be speaking on “Hot Topics Affecting Women in the Practice of Law.” Patti and the other panelists will discuss various issues, such as the effect of the pandemic on careers and practice; maternity leave, child and eldercare; work/life balance and mental health; and job satisfaction for women in the legal profession. They will also touch upon items including court experience for women lawyers; changes to the rules of civil procedure; professional development; mentoring opportunities; and skill sharpening within the profession.
