Paul Scheck, a partner in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Orlando office, recently addressed the attendees of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division’s Virtual Summit on November 2, 2023.
Paul, who spoke in his capacity as the Chair of the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section, addressed the nearly 1,000 virtual attendees of the summit, discussing involvement at all levels in Florida Bar organizations, specifically noting the role of the Florida Bar’s Trial Section and their annually held events.
The YLD’s Virtual Summit, “Mastering the Practice of Law,” was a free half-day conference designed to empower and equip young lawyers with the knowledge they need to excel in their careers. Attendees chose from a variety of continuing legal education breakout sessions, including professionalism and ethics, technology, legislative updates, public service loan forgiveness, career development, information on starting and developing your own law firm, lawyer wellness, and sessions created for government lawyers and law students.
