Rene Gonzalez-LLorens Named to Miami-Dade Commission on Human RightsMiami partner Rene Gonzalez-Llorens, a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, was named to the Miami-Dade County Commission on Human Rights. Rene was appointed by the Honorable Micky Steinberg, Miami-Dade County Commissioner, District 4.

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) is a quasi-judicial, as well as advisory, board charged with the enforcement of the Human Rights Ordinance, Chapter 11A of the Miami-Dade County Code or Ordinances as amended. Additionally, the CHR enforces the Miami-Dade County Family Leave Ordinance and the Domestic Violence Leave Ordinance. The CHR’s mission is to prevent discrimination and promote equal treatment for all Miami-Dade County residents and visitors.
