Shutts & Bowen LLP welcomes Andres F. Arrubla to the firm’s Jacksonville office, joining the firm as a Partner in its Intellectual Property Practice Group. He focuses his practice on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent, copyright and trade secret litigation, as well as the strategy, preparation and prosecution of intellectual property portfolios.
Prior to joining Shutts & Bowen, Andres served as Vice President, General Counsel of one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of bathroom enclosures and partitions. Prior to working in-house, Andres worked at a large national law firm in Washington, D.C., and in New York City, representing a global leading manufacturer of electronics, medical device companies and financial organizations.

Andres received his undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and his juris doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Washington, D.C., New York, the United States Patent & Trademark Office and the United States Supreme Court. He is also an alumnus member of the Pauline Newman IP American Inn of Court.
